CROZES HERMITAGE BL 08 GUIGAL
WINE ADVOCATE 90 - 92 "The 2009 Crozes-Hermitage Blanc is made from an identical blend and has an identical upbringing. It exhibits much deeper fruit (bordering on tropical) in addition to abundant minerality as well as white currant, quince and citrus blossom characteristics. It is an impressive, medium to full-bodied white to enjoy over the next 2-3 years."INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLAR 91 "Light yellow. Powerful, pungent aromas of pear skin, orange, bee pollen and dried flowers, with a gingery overtone. Deep pitched but lively, offering broad citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a chalky mineral quality. Closes with very good clarity and nervy, mineral-laced persistence. I suspect that this wine will age gracefully."
WINE SPECTATOR 90 "Textbook Northern Rhône white, offering a plum feel at the core, with peach and melon notes, offset by a lightly bitter, racy edge of blanched almond, salted butter and dried chamomile. Long, stone-tinged finish. Very tasty. Drink now through 2013."
