COLOME 2010 MALBEC
WINERY NOTES - "Though originally from France, the Malbec grape has found its home in Argentina, excelling in the country's warm, dry climate. The sandy and alluvial soils of our Malbec vineyards (Finca Colome and Finca El Arenal) yield small crops which produce deeply colored and concentrated wines capturing the essence of this distinct terroir. They have brought us worldwide recognition in the form of numerous awards and much press coverage. Aromas of black and red fruits (blackberries and black currants, raspberries and cherries) and the floral scent of violets abound in the complex nose, with hints of spices and minerals. In the mouth, it is fruity and fresh with a succulent and muscular structure of round velvety tannins. Its finish is fine, delicate and yet very long."
