100% Chardonnay. Sustainable farming. Grapes from different old vine plots in Chassagne-Montrachet- 45 to 65 year old vines located on the slopes bordering St. Aubin 1er cru AOC. Soil composed or marl & clay-limestone brown soils. Yeilds os 2.2 tons/acre. Hand harvested, double sorting table. Pneumatic press. 100% French oak barrel aging for 15 months with 40% new oak. 100% MLF. Light filtration before bottling in February 2010.Intense and precise minerality more pronounced than in classic Chassagne-Montrachet wines. Delicate notes of citrus, apple fruit, white flowers & hazelnut. Ready now, drink to 2025. A fantastic White Burgundy.
