CHABLIS 10 C. MOREAU VAUDESIR
WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS - "First and foremost a wine of textural finesse and elegance, the 2010 Chablis Vaudesir is utterly impeccable from the very first taste. Nothing in particular stands out, as all the elements are beautifully balanced. Smoke, licorice, apricots and spices wrap around a generous finish supported by clean veins of minerality. For the Vaudesir, Moreau aged 60% of the wine in oak. Anticipated maturity: 2012."BURGHOUND 91-93 POINTS - "A notably ripe and openly exotic nose offer up hints of sea breeze, iodine and a mix of white and yellow orchard fruit aromas. There is solid richness to the full-bodied and relatively dense middle weight flavors that exude a fine minerality on the mouth coating finish. As is the case with the 2009, this does not seem as though it is the issue of such young vines."
