Winemaker Michael Richmond decided to let a one acre block of their estate Chardonnay hang until December to let botrytis take over the grapes, and concentrate the grapes sugars and flavors. This is a sweet, harmonious treat, with aromas and flavors of honey, apricot, fig, warm apple cobbler, and lemon curd. This is a rich, unctuous, sweet wine with lovely Carneros acidity to keep it lively and fresh....BRAVO!
