" The estate's 2008 Outis Rosso is utterly beguiling. Sweet tobacco, dried flowers, herbs, savory herbs and red cherries all come to life in this finessed, totally beautiful wine. Deceptively medium in body, the 2008 has plenty of depth to drink well for a number of years. It is without question a totally interesting, if at times exotic and quirky, wine that takes a little time to get to know. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. Biondi is one of the most interesting wineries on the Etna. The estate’s top wines have been terrific for years, but the 2008 reds are particularly of note."
