WINE SPECTATOR 90 POINTS- 95 % Mourvedre an impressive red from southern France, loaded with raspberry, blackberry and bittersweet chocolate flavors. Luscious yet focused, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a solid backbone of acidity. Interesting mushroom and earth notes chime in on the finish, which goes on and on. Subtle bouquet when young, but develops notes of violets, leather and dark fruits with age. Complex flavors of fruits and spice with smooth round tannins. A wine that will edge for decades.
