With only five vineyards and just over 115 acres to farm, winemaker Anna Matzinger takes a personal, hands-on approach to Archery Summit’s wines that one might call intimate. So much, in fact, that Wine Spectator has stated that Archery Summit makes Oregon Pinot Noir that rivals Burgundy in quality! Any great winemaker will tell you that great wine starts with great grapes (a lot of greatness there), so to be as hands off as possible, they are Oregon’s first 100% gravity-flow winery in order to minimize damage and contamination of fruit or juice.
